The origins of the current Lacteas Cobreros date back to 1975 when Ubaldo Cobreros began its journey within the transport sector. In 1979 the company Transportes Cobreros was founded, constituted by José Cobreros and Maria Paz. The beginnings were hard, starting from scratch a project that was growing based on effort, dedication and daily work. Their perseverance and commitment led them to have five trucks in two years, and three years later a fleet of eighteen trucks. In 1988 the Company changed its orientation, starting to transport whey. In 1990 the family business went from being a transporter to a dairy operator with the aim of satisfying the market demand at that time, especially important in France. The Company expanded, implanting itself in Jaén, Talavera de la Reina and Almería. At that time it already had an annual collection of over 20 million liters. In 1997 was set up the current Lacteas Cobreros. In the year 2000, a new factory was built to produce goat cheese, milk powder and lactic curd, being a pioneer in Castilla y León in the production of goat cheese rolls, a product that has badged our company until today. Currently we export to over 25 countries, we have a selection of the best goat Cooperatives and farms in Spain and we have a staff of over 150 people daily dedicated to develop the best possible products for our customers. We continue growing and opening borders, taking our brand and quality products around the world every day. The seal of our family, the legacy of the effort and the daily work, continue to be the path for our Company.
